On the third day of Christmas…
I may or may not have upset the Ocean Spray Cranberry guys with my last post. I didn’t mean to insinuate that the cranberry was no longer the “it”fruit of the holidays. I mean what would Thanksgiving and Christmas be without cranberry bread or cranberry sauce? To make it up to them I choose a cookie that features the cranberry.
These Sparkling Cranberry Gems from King Arthur Flour are super tasty and easy to make. They also make a great addition to a cookie platter because they are coated in sugar crystals which adds a bit of sparkle. They taste a little bit like shortbread with an added touch of tartness.
