Isn’t it ironic…

2. A state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result.
In my last post I documented my hatred of burpees and how I basically never wanted to do another burpee again, EVER. We even gave it a hashtag, #burpeehell. Then this morning this happened, and if November Project has taught me anything, its #raceeverything. So even though I wasn’t there for the workout, I wanted to see how I stacked up against the rest of the tribe. So I set my stupid timer for 7 mins and did 73 burpees on my back patio for fun!! WTF is wrong with me?
The Hubs is out of town for work this week which means I get to eat all the things that he doesn’t like. That also means there is no bacon on the menu!! A few weeks ago, I roasted some red peppers on the grill and marinated them in a garlic scape vinaigrette and stored them in the fridge. Tonight I made a little sandwich of fresh mozzarella, topped with the marinated peppers, fresh basil from my “garden” and jalapeno’s. So delicious and simple.
