On the tenth day of Christmas (also featuring 7,8 and 9)…
Why is 6 afraid of 7? because 7, 8(ate) 9!! See Mike I’m funny (insert slapping knee here)!
So I’m a little (ok, a lot) behind here. There are seriously not enough hours in the day to get everything done. Between craft fairs, menu planning, cleaning, cookie swap planning, 5K’s and baking/cooking, and trying out the new Barcelona South End (reviews to come later) I have had zero time for blogging!! So, we are gonna keep this short and sweet…
For your cookie swapping enjoyment, these are recipes 7, 8, 9 and 10 that I’ve made in the past (sorry no pictures).
Sweet and Salty Peanut Chocolate Chunk Cookies – from Cooking Light 2007 (Not much to say here…Peanuts and Chocolate, Salty and Sweet, Delicous and Delicous!)
Cranberry Noels – from Martha Stewart 2002 (I usually roll the logs in coconut before refrigerating and slicing. It gives the cookies a nice toasted coconut flavor)
Salted Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies – from Bran Appetit 2013 (I made these for dessert Friday at work last December, and I still get asked to make them again almost every week!)
Butterscotch and White Chocolate Chip Oat Drops – from A Pretty Life 2012 (First, adding coconut is a must!! Second with the addition of Butterscotch and White Chocolate they were a little too sweet for me, so next time I would try adding 3/4 cups total of a mixture of the two chips. Otherwise they were a delicious twist on the traditional oatmeal raisin cookie)
