On the second day of Christmas…
So are Pomegranates the new cranberries? I’m pretty sure that somewhere I read that cranberries are the unofficial fruit of the holidays, but lately all I’ve seen are pomegranates. They are in salads, cocktails, side dishes…cookies. I’m not complaining, they are delicious, I’m just wondering? The second cookie in my 12 days of cookies is the Pomegranate White Chocolate Chunk Cookie and it’s one of my favorites. Two Peas and Their Pod first posted them back in November 2010 on their blog and they have been a holiday staple of mine ever since. One of these day’s I’m going to try making them with dark chocolate instead of white. I think the combo would be perfect! Thoughts??
